Digital Literacy for Teachers 

This project evaluated an online professional development course focused on developing teachers’ digital literacy.

The course intended to help teachers better understand how to use the power of digital technologies in positive and informed ways to support, develop and improve young people’s learning, and their health and wellbeing.

The course involved over 500 international teachers from primary and secondary schools, and higher education. The course was evaluated using a survey, interviews and analysis of online discussions.

The findings show that an evidence-based online professional development courses focused on digital literacy can improve teachers ability to support young people and their engagement with health-related social media.
